We will contact the buyer to inform them of their provisional booking and confirm payment details, as well as details for the workshop booked.  Fee for workshop bookings include all workshop materials, equipment and expert tuition.

Workshop Attendees

Our workshops have space for six people, however, if we do not have a minimum of four people signed up to the workshop, we will inform all attendees signed up a week prior to the workshop to rearrange attendance for a later date with no admin fee charge.

Only under exceptional circumstances will the tutor cancel the workshop and provide you as much notice as possible, if this occurs your workshop date will be moved with no admin fee applied.

Timings

The timing for the workshop is when the workshop will run, so to ensure most amount of time for the session, please allow extra time to get to the venue. If attendees are late arriving/starting the session, the workshop will still finish as previously agreed time. Workshop leaders are booked for time agreed, but they may use their discretion – this will be assessed on an individual basis.

On the extremely rare (and unavoidable – due to circumstances beyond their control) occasion a workshop leader is late to your session, they will endeavour to provide you with your full session time and will work with you to get the best time balance based on your plans following the session.

Venue Space

Our studio space is a working studio, and a health & safety brief will provided at the beginning of the session as well as an introduction to amenities and the running of the workshop.

Whilst we encourage you to enjoy drinks and biscuits alongside the workshop, please note we will ensure all food and drink is set away from work desks for a safe and clean working environment.

Safety

Although the majority of tools and equipment used at workshops are safe to use and attendees provided with briefings, attendees may come in contact with sharp objects throughout the workshop.  Workshop leaders will encourage attendees to enjoy the workshop as much as possible, but safety is paramount and attendees will be asked to bear in mind their own safety with tools and equipment. Workshop leaders will show safe use of all equipment. Attendees cannot operate hot or sharp equipment if intoxicated and will be removed from the session. Workshop leaders will be happy to help and may step in if they feel someone is unable to operate equipment or tools safely. This is to ensure the attendees safety. All attendees will be asked to sign a wavier at the start of the workshop to ensure they understand the terms.

Photographs

During the workshops, workshop leaders may take photos of attendees working and work created. It must be made clear at the beginning of the session if no photos are to be taken of a particular attendee. Photographs may be used for published/digital media such as magazines, websites, as well as on our own social media sites.

Group Bookings

If group booking is required for six or attendees, please contact us via the details on the contact me page so we can arrange details for your group, rather than book through the website .

The fee for attending a group workshop will be provided on a booking & invoice form for the relevant workshop booked. A deposit of 50% of the booking fee must be made at the time of confirming the booking to secure the places. Four weeks before your workshop we require a final headcount so we can purchase materials and prepare your workshop, as well as fully brief the workshop team and ensure we have the correct number of staff for your event.

Four weeks before the workshop date, we also require the remaining payment based on your final headcount. The deposit paid will be deducted from the total to provide the final balance. This payment is non-refundable. The payment deadline is noted on the booking & invoice form. If final payment is not received within three days of the deadline, we reserve the rights to cancel your booking. After this four week point, we cannot refund payment made for any person no longer able to attend the workshop. We have a minimum charge for six people to attend the session.

We will try our best to accommodate any additional people wanting to attend the workshop after this four week period, however, we cannot guarantee being able to source and supply materials in time, so please give us as much notice as possible. Adding additional people may incur an additional charge on top of the workshop fee.
